In Cusco, you will not have to worry too much food, because the different restaurants in the city offer a varied menu, excellent service and a great time. Why ask for more.

Around the Plaza de Armas, where most of the restaurants. Their prices to suit all budgets and vary according to service quality and type of food they offer.

But if what you want is to taste the typical food of this city in Peru, we recommend you shop around the picanterías and Chicherías Cusco, where you can find dishes like Quso KAPICHE (which is prepared especially during the months November and December) which is a stew of green beans and boiled potatoes, garnished with onion, garlic, butter, milk and chili.

Other recommended dishes are the Timpo or stew, stew typical of Mardi Gras, which is a beef soup breast, head of lamb, bacon and feet, collard greens, potatoes, chickpeas and rice, among other products. Also taste the pepián guinea or guinea pig.

To drink, we recommend the Chicha de Jora. A drink of Andean origin, made from fermented corn.
